New AI Suite Announced at Config 2025
Figma introduced a set of AI-powered tools at its Config 2025 conference, held May 6-8 in San Francisco. The tools—Figma Sites, Figma Make, Figma Buzz, and Figma Draw—are now in beta for users on paid plans, aiming to simplify workflows for designers, developers, and marketers.
Figma Sites: AI-Driven Web Creation
Figma Sites transforms prototypes into responsive websites using no-code AI prompts. Users can apply animations or layouts with simple text instructions. With 50 templates and planned CMS integration, it competes with platforms like WordPress and Wix.
Figma Make: Prototyping with AI
Powered by Anthropic’s Claude 3.7, Figma Make generates code-backed app prototypes from text or designs. It supports collaborative edits, allowing teams to refine UI elements or code, positioning it as a rival to tools like Replit.
Figma Buzz: Marketing at Scale
Figma Buzz enables marketers to produce brand-compliant assets quickly using templates or spreadsheets. Integrated with design systems, it streamlines content creation and competes with Canva and Adobe Express.
Figma Draw: Advanced Vector Editing
Figma Draw enhances illustration with tools like lasso, shape builder, and text-on-path. Its vector brushes and pattern fills bring Figma closer to Adobe Illustrator, supporting scalable design creation.
Privacy and Competition
Building on 2024’s AI features, Figma ensures data privacy with opt-out options and de-identified data use. The tools position Figma against Adobe, Canva, and WordPress, aiming to be a one-stop platform for digital product creation.
