The other day, I dove into the world of Procreate with the “Pastel Christmas Candy” tutorial by Tatyana Deniz | Kawaii Artist & Teacher. If you love kawaii, you will definitely enjoy her lessons!
I followed the steps, creating cute Christmas candies, but my inner fan of all things unusual couldn’t resist. I decided to add my own twist and transformed the sweets into “Stitched Christmas Candy.” A few stitches here and there, and the familiar image takes on a new, slightly spooky, but charming story.
This little experiment reminded me how important it is not just to follow along, but to bring a piece of yourself into your art. I’m thrilled with how it turned out!
